Evident reviews new pull requests on its own — no mention needed — and reports the outcome as a GitHub check, with remarks on the lines they're about. The author doesn't need an Evident account.
GitHub mentions
@mention your runner on an issue, a pull request, or a review comment and it gets to work. It reacts to show it started, then answers in the thread. Connect your GitHub account first.
Slack
@mention your runner in Slack like a teammate and the answer comes back in the thread. Pick a default runner for the workspace, or override it per channel.
Email your runner, or forward it a thread, and the reply lands back in the same conversation. Senders are limited to your team's verified addresses.
Web chat
Open your runner's chat from the browser and watch every message, tool call and file edit as it happens — and answer its questions right there.
Schedules
Give a runner a recurring message — a daily summary, an hourly sweep of something you care about — and let it report back on its own.

Create a runner
Sign up and create your first runner. A team is created for you automatically — your runner is scoped to it.
Run it on your machine
Install the Evident CLI and start your runner. The CLI runs OpenCode on your machine and connects it to Evident over an outbound tunnel.

Plug it into your channels
Connect GitHub and it starts reviewing pull requests — nothing else to turn on. Add email, schedules, or Slack on Pro.
On your own machine
The CLI starts OpenCode locally, so your runner reaches the files, private packages and internal services already available to you.

Evident never runs your code, and keeps no copy of your repository. Chat traffic is proxied through Evident to reach your machine, and the messages you send are stored so they can be queued while your runner is offline.
